A full creative direction project for DanielJay, focused on building a cohesive visual identity for his album, Delusion, through photoshoots, and digital presence.
Mood board created to guide visual direction for DanielJay’s “Delusion” era.
Photoshoots — Visual Identity & Brand Cohesion
I developed and directed a team photoshoot to establish DanielJay’s visual language for the happiness is bliss or “Delusion” era. Using a curated mood board rooted in themes of kalopsia, nature, and emotional idealism, I guided styling, location selection of the Chicago Park Districts' "Osaka Garden", and framed the group shots to evoke a sense of longing youth and fleeting surrealism.
Selected a photographer with experience in outdoor lifestyle photography
Created moodboards and visual references aligned with sonic tone
Directed shoot composition, styling, and emotional expression
Ensured visual consistency across all rollout assets
Digital Rollout — Social Media & Website Strategy
To support the release, I built a digital rollout strategy that integrated visuals across social media and the artist’s website. This included teaser content, visual carousels, and homepage updates that reflected the “Delusion” aesthetic.
Designed social media content strategy for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Updated artist website with visuals, copy, and layout aligned to the campaign
Created a cohesive digital experience that mirrored the emotional tone of the music
Monitored engagement and adjusted content pacing based on audience response
This rollout helped deepen fan connection and reinforced DanielJay’s evolving brand identity.
